Ghaith ZureikatCEO

    Mr. Zureiqat is a leading economist and development specialist with over 25 years of extensive experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating development projects and interventions in the MENA region.

    Furthermore, Mr. Zureiqat is a lead expert in developing social protection and socio-economic policies in the MENA region. Mr. Zureiqat led development of private and public sector partnership initiatives in different sectors. Successfully managed several developmental projects and programs in Jordan specifically projects funded by the United States, Canada, Australia, Spain, Sweden, World Bank Group, and UN agencies. Significantly participated in setting developmental plans, public policies, and priorities in many social and economic sectors.

    Prior to moving to the private sector, he served as an advisor to Minister of Planning and International Cooperation on competitiveness issues, and Deputy Governor of Jordan to the World Bank Group.    HE also served as the Coordinator of the Government of Jordan Plan for enhancing business environment. He was also member of several privatization programs in Jordan.

    During the work at CONSULTUS Mr. Zureiqat has led several projects that included implementing and evaluating projects in different sectors funded by different donors.

    Zureikat holds a B.A. and M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Jordan. In 2006, he received the Project Management Applications Certificate from George Washington University and he holds a Certificate on USAID Regulations and Contracting. Between 1997 and 2001, he received specialized training with Harvard Business School on Firms and Sectors Competitiveness.
