Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Financial Assessment

ConsultUS is working with AFD and GAM on conducting a financial assessment with the objective of assessing the approach of tax revenue repartition between GoJ and GAM ( GAM’s Local public finance overview ), and to identify which entities to be responsible for collecting the taxes,  and GAM’s recovery plans,  in addition to  studying  the relation of both GAM and GoJ concerning tax collection issues and their consequences on the balance of the budget. The study report will provide detailed recommendations on enhancing the financial management of GAM.
