Strengthening Public Financial Management for Transparency & Efficiency

ConsultUS supported the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Youth on strengthening budgeting procedures, including the adoption of results-based budgeting and aligning budget allocations with the Ministry’s strategic plans. In addition, ConsultUS supported the expansion and activation of the Government Integrated Management and Control System (GIMCS), developing and delivering targeted training programs for procurement and supplies directorates to ensure effective system utilization.

Furthermore, ConsultUS contributed to the development of the Public Field Expenditure Tracker (PFET), including the documentation of financial workflows across key departments aimed at enhancing the transparency, equity, and accountability of financial resource allocation and expenditure tracking —covering financial procedures at both central and governorate levels.
